First of all, may I greet each and every one - Maligayang Pasko at Manigong Bagong Taon! (Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!)
Some of you may be wondering, where Tootsie is now? I apologize for not writing regularly, but that doesn’t mean I have forgotten to keep you guys updated on my life now.
I have been very blessed since I came here in the U.S. since 2004. Not only do I have a wonderful family but a career I’ve always dreamt of since I was in school. Even though I was in show business since 9 years old, with the support and guidance of my parents, I pursued my education, never quitting and graduated college with flying colors. At the same time, garnered gold and platinum record awards and was able to experience and launch an acting career as a villain in soap operas.
Working now for a multi-million dollar Senior Living Company in the U.S. that has almost 300 communities nationwide is a very humbling experience. Each day, I thank the good Lord for giving me the opportunity to help the seniors at the same time making me a much better person. It makes my life more meaningful.
Recently I was offered by my Regional Director of Sales & Marketing to tansfer from a Memory Care Assisted Living (Alzheimer’s and Dementia community) to an Independent and Assisted Living Community with Memory Care. This is a much better position as opportunities are larger.
It was sad for me to leave the residents and fellow supervisors from the community I came from whom I’ve loved but it was a very happy and exciting challenge for me in accepting the offer. Loyalton of Rancho Solano - the community where I am now is such a beautiful place being surrounded by wineries, golf course and scenic views. I am really very grateful for all the wonderful opportunities and meaningful experiences with Senior residents and their families every single day. That is why I wanted to share with you a recent photo taken during our resident’s Christmas party.
I would like to share with you my photos with Mayor Harry Price, Mayor Pete Sanchez and Chief of Police Mr. Kenton Rainey. I cherish my friendship with them for they are always there to support our Senior residents and are really involved in the community. Sincerely,
Community Relations Director
